Brief description of this software product:
Backyard Baseball recreates the days of playing summer league baseball on the neighborhood grassy lot. Choose from over thirty neighborhood kids to create your team. Players each have their own strengths and weaknesses as well as quirky personalities that add hysterical hijinks to the game. Once youÆve selected your team, take them to batting practice to help learn batting and pitching controls. When youÆre ready, you can play pickup games or start league play and work your team through the season to the pennant. Each game includes two announcers, Sunny Day and Vinnie the Gooch, to call the games play by play. Sunny and Vinnie also share comments about how the pitcher and batters are faring in the game, whether batters are swinging too soon, or the pitcherÆs arm is getting tired. Backyard Baseball includes statistics for each player as well as for the team. You can print each playerÆs statistics as trading cards or print a picture of your whole team.
