Mud Pies for Sale

Time

  • 20 to 30 minutes

Materials

  • Dirt or sand
  • Water

Directions

  1. Find a comfortable place to sit by some dirt or sand and mix up a batch with the hands.
  2. Scoop and mold into smooth pies and set out to dry in the sun.
  3. The next step is to open your pretend bakery.

Extensions

  • Add twigs for birthday candles and celebrate a pretend birthday.
  • Sprinkle with dry sand or dirt for sugar cookies.
  • Decorate with pebbles and leaves.
  • Take turns buying and selling the treats to each other.
